Bass to Speak at Tiger 21 Group

Bass to Speak to Dallas Tiger 21 Group on Japanese Bond Market

(Dallas, TX) April 1, 2010 — J. Kyle Bass, co-founder of Hayman Woods, will do an exclusive question and answer session with Dallas TIGER 21 members on April 8. Mr. Bass, one of the few managers who got the housing bubble right on the downside, is now shifting his focus to Japan and the challenging times that lie ahead for the world’s second-largest economy. Bass, who made successful bets against subprime mortgages and financial companies in recent years, anticipates trouble for Japan’s financial system, and his concern is that Japanese government borrowing will continue to climb while demand for the nation’s debt could taper off.  The result: a collapse of the Japanese government-bond market.
